We have been able to purchase a 1.5 acre plot of land which will allow us to build out a well system and aquaponic fish and vegetable program. This area also allows the children a safe and fenced area to play soccer and games during breaks from school. We are very exited to continue fundraising efforts with the IAGI Companies, regional businesses and our friends and relatives to build out the well and storage system in the first quarter of 2017. Once we have generated enough donations we will move on to building an aquaponic system here in the U. S. and loading the system into a container for shipment to Kenya. We will leave the container at KEGO and will have outfitted the container with a work bench, backup generator, backup pumps and aquaponic supplies along with a small office that will be connected to the growing area.
Rippling Waters Charity is investing in the future of these children by providing a self-guided path for them to build their own future. We do not want these children to be dependent on Rippling Waters Charity, we want these children to earn their way to sustainability through good studies and hard work.
