About Us
Suzi Heap
Suzi Heap is a Colorado native who attended the University of Colorado, School of Journalism. Suzi’s career involved a wide range of experiences before becoming a mother of two (now grown) daughters; her early career included sales for print and radio advertising, a 3-year position on the Board of Directors for the Apartment Association of Metro Denver, and involvement with Digit Fund merchandising to save the Mountain Gorillas in Rwanda. It was this last position that opened Suzi’s eyes to the greater needs in our world and planted the seed of wanting to make a difference beyond her community and across the world, ultimately leading to her involvement in Rippling Waters Charity.
In partnership with her husband John, Suzi co-founded Rippling Waters Charity and is fulfilled by putting her energy toward making an impact in the lives of children across the world. She feels extremely blessed to have the time and resources to commit to an honest, trustworthy, and beneficial cause. Suzi’s motto is, “If you can help one child by doing something simple, why wouldn’t you?” Together with her husband John, they have the vision, commitment, and knowledge to help Orphaned Children Thrive.

Raised in Boulder, CO John Heap has spent the past 37 years growing his family business from a local endeavor to an international enterprise. In 1979 John joined his father’s environmental lining business and ran the field crews who installed water protection and control systems; he later moved to a role alongside his father where he supported the management and growth of business functions such as bidding, estimating and construction management. In the early 1990s John purchased directly and began focusing on driving growth and international business.
John is a Board member of the International Association of Geosynthetic Installers (IAGI) and Chairman of the IAGI Give Back Program designed to offer support for clean water and sustainable living for orphanages. It is in service of this role that he founded Rippling Waters Charity, a 501(c)(3) organization that helps orphaned children thrive. By utilizing the network of connections in the geo-business, John’s long term goal is to make Rippling Waters Charity an international organization dedicated to providing sustainable, realistic solutions with the lowest possible overhead.
